Trendhopper called: my couch has arrived! Unfortunately there is no picture on the website, but it's big and aubergine, use your imagination;)
(Now I have to find a way to get it up in my apartment...;)

(Window) shopping in Amsterdam with Gayleen: touched a 1500+ euro coat at Dolce & Gabbana. We both scored some good stuff at Lush (Sonic Death Monkey) and bought books at Waterstone's (Until I Find You by John Irving and short stories by Dave Eggers). Ended the day at the movies: missed the beginning of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and watched The Island. (reviews will follow in the movielog;)
Said goodbye at the trainstation, where I found my platform closed off. Staff didn't give any information to the waiting crowd, but there were rumours of a -whispering- b-o-m-b-t-h-r-e-a-t.
Dear railway-employees: when people don't know what they're waiting for, they get pissed off. Next time just tell us what the hell is going on. Besides: Bombthreat-Schmombthreat, I'm pms-ing and a lot more dangerous than any would-be-terrorist. If I miss my train, you're in big trouble. I'm not kidding.
Lucky for them, passengers were allowed on the platform just in time and I also managed to catch the connecting train home.
To whomever 'caused the situation: don't try this again.

Diner with Gayleen and Jaap in The Hague (G is a great cook: I didn't know you could make pizza's from scratch;)
Night at the beach for the fireworksfestival in Scheveningen. Second day of competition: Croatia and Italy. I liked the rhythm of the first, but the second display was more spectacular.
It was fun (also enjoyed the comments of the people on the beach: 'it was a fucking shooting star' heh:)

11 am-ish: Getting ready to paint the wall in the 'bathroom' (there is no bath). How in the #*&%#& do I remove that shower-tube? Aaargh, I'm gonna get something to eat first, grumble.

15.30 (three thirthy;) Finally found a way to get the shower off the wall:-) Been painting most of the afternoon, result so far:




Last picture with superflash I guess, on the whole wall the color is the same pale-blue;-)

Also started on the windowpane in the livingroom, but had to take a break from having my arms up in the air. Will continue after posting...
