I treated myself to DVD's and books this afternoon:

Top from left to right:
  • Present = book 'Kersenbloed' - a prologue to the Green Flower trilogy by Floortje Zwigtman (I won't read it until I've read part three, which will -hopefully- be published at the end of 2008. Le Sigh.
  • DVD 'Me And You And Everyone We Know' - including an extra DVD with two short films by Miranda July
  • book 'Spelregels' (rules of the game) - a historic novel for teens about a young couple's struggle with society's rules for men and women
  • DVD Hornblower, the complete series with Ioan Gruffudd - yum - you just know there has to be fanfic out there *g* (and yes there is: Horny!Horny!)
  • manga 'Deathnote 3' - which I can't read yet, because I'm still waiting for my order of Deathnote 2 - grumble

  • Bottom from left to right:
  • Book 'Tegenspel' - part two of the Green Flower trilogy
  • Book 'Schijnbewegingen' - part one of the Green Flower Trilogy (Jelle lent these books to me and I loved them so much I just had to have them myself;)
  • DVD Seinfeld Season 8
  • DVD comedy Extra's Season 1 (I can't believe Season 2 wasn't available. Now I have to hunt that down online)

  • I could have bought so much more, but I thought I'd save some treats for my trip to Amsterdam on Thursday;)

The Livingroom Project 2007 - result!
I'm done! You've seen The before pictures and the work in progress, now it's time to show off the result of all my hard work;)
But first a thank you to those of you who helped me, either physically or emotionally - you know who you are. *hugs*

On with the final stages of the project:
blood, sweat and tears in four chapters...

    1. Putting the bookworm back on the wall together with brotherdearest:

    2. Picking the right colour(s) after some tears and tests...

    3. In the middle of the wallproject I noticed a rusty pipe...

... that could also use a lick of paint (well, two really;)

    4. After all that painting, I finally put the furniture back in its original place:
    Front...

    ...to...

    ...back!

Okay, I lied: I left the locker on the right side of the room....

...and now the magazine-rack is on the left:

Ehm, I think I confused the left and the right side. Oh well: from whatever direction I'm looking at the wall, I'm very pleased with the result :-)
