Another not standard-day at work. After I explained to intern-boy how to make cards, there was nothing for me to do but wait for a couple of orders that are being prepared by customers in -shock horror- Word (to name but one sad program) I really love being just a desktoppublisher and check other people's shitty creations, instead of making my own designs...
But I didn't have to sit around and do nothing, plenty of work available in our finishing-corner (you try and think of a better word for it, it's where printorders are being finished;) Not very intelligent work: filling lots of ring binders one chapter at the time, very mindnumbing work, but I survived;)
Went shopping tonight for hooks to hang on my bathroom-door and I found them but the 'fits on every door' promess turned out to be false, 'cause the 'easy to use' system was so not suitable for my door! And even though it costed less than 1.50 euro (which I had to pay for it anyway, because 'this shop is rounding up' (wtf? First take away the guilder and comfort us with extra coins and then after only two years of using them convince us they are useless? My heart is weeping and my mouth is cursing >:-[) I'm still gonna return it to the shop, tsss.
Jaap called to check all the apointments concerning the move tomorrownight. I still have to clean the couch that's going back to The Hague and I also better do the dishes, 'cause I'm sure Hans and Rianne, who are gonna carry the stuff down the stairs to dad's van, want to have diner from clean plates... It's gonna be a long night... :o)

After taking care of the batterie-recharge problem (okay, why didn't someone tell me that you have to recharge new rechargable batteries, 'cause they -apparently- are empty when you buy them? I felt like such a girl when E. from D. had to explain that to me, grrr) I went to work out with mr. Right again. But, unlike last week when he had been a very good boy (...;) this time he decided to play ballads and -this is where I draw the line- something that sounded suspiciously like jazz during our training: that was it, I had to dump him, sorry.
Spend the rest of the night on the couch, impersonating a potatoe;)

Mum got to sleep in this morning, so there was no fighting over and or in the bathroom;)
While I was putting on my coat, it was pooring down, but after I was done wrestling with my waterproof pants and got on my bike of course the rain had stopped and it stayed dry until I got on the bus, sigh.
After finishing the first set up of the Amaloco Darkroom-Paper (it's a firm that makes chemicals for photography, honest;) and some simple changes to a clients stationary (that I had to adjust to the website, instead of doing it the other way around, the way it's supposed to be done: first (have someone) think of a company-style and then do the windowdressing, please) I spent the rest of the day archiving stuff. It's kind of relaxing work, even though you have to stand up all the time, 'cause while you're working you can enjoy the smell of the bakery next door: m-m-m:)
At home I had a fight with some lights and rechargable batteries: for some strange reason they don't wanna play together, very annoying:-[ (Any suggestions?)
I was planning on spending the night in my attic-cinema, but stayed the first half of the evening in front of the tv for 'Bowfinger' (I have no shame;) Later I went upstairs for a private-viewing of 'Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back' and in the meantime thought of some more things that could be usefull up there, like a light with a switch near the seat, so I don't have to get up when I get confused with al my remotes;) For now I'm using a flashlight (US, torch for UK:) to figure them all out;)

At work: new student for internship, bussy with Amaloco-paper.
At home: mum quit her job and now had time to focus on the big move
Diner: chicken-spareribs with pommes parisien, peas and carrots. Dessert: vanilla-yoghurt with peachflavouring (why is it bright orange, it should taste good without the colouring)
Because of the lousy weather and lack of citybus at the right time, we drove the car to the Sneak-preview. Was freezing in the cinema, movie was better than last week (considering that was Jersey Girl, not too hard to beat;)
Back home around eleven.

Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring: what idiot sets her alarm on a Sunday? Oh, that would be me, aargh. I was so tired last night and probably already half asleep when I unlocked that ringingdivice on my alarmclock:-[. TG I realised it was Sunday even when that bloody thing went off, but it still took my heart a couple of minutes to calm down, before I could get back to sleep, grrr.
It was around ten a.m. that I really got up and I started the day doing the dishes and making a list of my video-, dvd- and divxcollection. I really need that when I go near shops now, to prevent buying the same movie twice (too late;) I also returned some of my mp3's from the BackUpCD's to my computer.
Spent the afternoon in the attic. Didn't manage to finish putting the photo's on the ceiling, 'cause I ran out of pins and also 'cause I wanted to catch the afternoon showing of 'The Village'.
Had some trouble getting into the story, because of the couple next to me that had to explain every other scene to each other. After intermission they'd given up trying to understand the film and didn't care about it at all from the sounds of it and that didn't help me concentrate on the movie either, grumble.
Back home I searched for and found pins on my noticeboards, so I could finish the ceiling in the attic: a job well done and it's ready for viewing! For watching movies you'd have to settle for the smaller screen (1.35 m x 1.35 m), since the electric big one is still in the shop for repairs (fingers crossed) but if you're in the mood for a film: you're welcome:)
I missed the first couple of minutes of tonight's couch-movie. But since I'd already seen 'Someone Like You... (aka Animal Attraction) before, it was no disaster. I'd conveniently forgotten that ubercuty Hugh Jackman was smoking (litteraly;) in this movie (obviously sponsored, 'cause everybody was at it, yuch) which sucked, but luckily I don't have smellavision and I'm Queen of denial for nicotine-junkies in films anyway, so I still kind of enjoyed this very tasty tall guy (can I have one of those?)
