Yesterday evening I came home late and exhausted, after some sort of training at work (how to be nice to customers, very useful;) and missing the bus and spending an hour on a chilly busstation waiting for the next one. My mood didn't improve when I found a bike parked in the hallway , blocking the entrance to the storage area (where people are supposed to park their bikes). This time the smart owner (...) connected the bike to the bannister, so I couldn't move it out of the way.
So instead I used my lock on the frontwheel, after I finally managed to reach my shack.
(In my defence: this wasn't the first time I had trouble getting through the door and it's not like I didn't try to explain a hundred times before why it's a stupid place to park a bike.)
This morning I pinned a note to the saddle explaining my action and signed with my name and adress.
When I got home this evening the bike was gone and upstairs, on my doormat I found my lock and a note saying:
'Here's your lock back
if you use it again,
I will be in your 'gakup'
if you use it again,
I will be in your 'gakup'
(Couldn't really read the last word)
The message was signed with 'Whiner'. (What a strange way to describe yourself *g*)
(the online dictionairy tells me the right word is 'attitudinizer', but that sounds a bit posh;)
But now I'm wondering: where can I find my 'gakup' and where does whiner live?
(etiquette is a bitch)
