Diner at Mr.Wok for my birthday

A beautiful day

Officialy we celebrate Sinterklaas' birthday on the 5th of december. But since Sunday is a more convenient day to get together, we handed out presents today. (FYI Saint Nick is what we like to call the original Santa Clause. He doesn't just deliver presents, but he writes poetry and occasionally makes surprise-gifts to memorate special events that happened to people in the past year) For the first time in years no-one was travelling the world in december, so we all went to mom's house today to have a party. Here are the pictures.

Yesterday I came back from my very satisfying trip to London. I wrote about it in my LiveJournal, here I'll post the pictures of my brand new funky shoes, so you can admire the pretty:
Getting ready for my trip to London: three days of theatre and shopping bliss (my poor wallet;) I already have a ticket for Richard II with Kevin Spacey in The Old Vic on Saturday, hopefully I'll be able to go to another play (or -gasp- musical:) I'm also in the mood for shoeshopping, so look out Camden, here I come!
Dear Hormones,
Sunday today, so of course I watched God-tv: not a joke: a real channel "Broadcasting from the Holy Land to the ends of the earth" unbelievable. Never seen it before and I have my doubts about their message: there is some heavy advertising for the Godshop. I always thought it was a sin to shop on Sundays. (At least that's how some of my relatives look at it, I don't think they are even allowed to watch tv on Sundays...) Creepy stuff.
This made me giggle. Love the SHMAG*g* (Warning: CSI S6 possible spoilers)
After much antici....pation, I
Yesterday evening I came home late and exhausted, after some sort of training at work (how to be nice to customers, very useful;) and missing the bus and spending an hour on a chilly busstation waiting for the next one. My mood didn't improve when I found a bike parked in the hallway , blocking the entrance to the storage area (where people are supposed to park their bikes). This time the smart owner (...) connected the bike to the bannister, so I couldn't move it out of the way.
When Mom and I got home from The Machinist last night, we definatly needed something to make us feel better (good movie, very depressing). Luckily I turned on the tv just in time for our favourite Gilmore Girls moment. Garanteed to give us sweet dreams;-)
The CSI-fanficawards-polls are open; stayed up all night reading....
