I am such a lazy cow. Today I had all day available to finally update this blog, but instead I spent it hanging in front of the tv, installing a phone-program on my computer and selecting pictures for a present for mum (it's gonna be a surprise, so don't tell her;)
And now it's already almost 11.30 p.m. and of course now I don't feel like translating all the stuff that happened the past couple of weeks, sigh. So in short: my mum moved out of the house that was our home from 1978. Because her new appartment isn't ready yet, she's staying with me during the week and with her boyfriend in the weekends. I'm still trying to get used to sharing my personal space with another person... but I do like having someone to sit down with for diner;)
That was the biggest event in my life in the past weeks, here are the highlights of this week (all I can manage, I'm sorry)
Monday I went to Sneakmovie 'Wimbledon', which I liked
Tuesday me and mum went to the theater. As a welcome-t0-town-gift I bought her tickets for all the 'new theater companies performances', which means we get to see a suprise play every first Tuesday of the month until april 2005. This week it was called 'A tree only gets applause when it's sawdust' It was a story set in the circus about a lion tamer who suddenly doesn't see the point in making the animals do tricks anymore. She is then joined on stage by her fellow cirucusperformers, who first try to persuate her to quit acting silly and continue with the show, but then start to see the beauty of her decision. Or something like that, the play was open to interpretation, at times it was more some kind of mime and on the bikeride home, my mum had some very different ideas about what happened;) It was an interesting evening:)
Wednesday is my work-out-evening and it was a good one, considering I had missed last week because of muscle-aches as a result of moving house... Mum got fun news about her appartment, they will hand her the key on October 26. (Before she can move in the walls and floor have to be installed)
Thursday we sat down in my personal movie-theater for a showing of 'I Spy', which turned out to be an awful movie, despite (or thanks to) the presents of Eddie Murphy, Owen Wilson and Famke Jansen. A spy-movie-spoof, that was neither funny nor interesting:-(
Friday was a horrible workday, I was exhausted
Saturday I went to see SharkTale, which was dissapointing
and my Sunday activities were mentioned in the introduction to today's blog.
That's all for now, hope I can find time to keep this blog updated, but I'm not making any promisses;)
