I've been spending a lot of time reading
I will occasionally be posting there, to keep the thing alive and to experiment with styles. Check out the link!
I've been spending a lot of time reading
Woohoo, noticed just in time that 'As If' is on again: every Saturday AND Sunday-afternoon. Great series from the UK (2001) about six teenagers (17 and up) in London. Each episode lets one of them talk about their week. Good stuff...
Recorded Manhunter (1986) because of William L. Petersen and rather enjoyed watching a younger version of CSI-Gil Grissom: nice legs:-) even though I didn't really care for Mr. Mann's style: very slow. Managed to fall asleep despite the loud music and intens performances by all involved btw, but finished it the next morning. And a good thing I did watch it until the end, or I would have missed this spectacular bit of translating.
Okay, nobody to blame for the lack of posts, except me. Not in the mood, too bussy, my back hurts, ehm, whatever. I will be better in the near future, no really, why don't you believe me?
You can blame Oscar: I really was gonna work on this log, but then he shows up unanounced for a surprise-visit and we hadn't seen eachother in over a year, so I hope I'm forgiven for totally forgetting about this digital diary? Next weekend will be three days long, so I'll spend some more time here then (unless of course another blast from the past stops by;-)
Woohoo, a four-day weekend:-) What to do with my time?
Am updating my movie-blog (bios) and figured I might as well type something here:) Gonna start my (re)watch of CSI Season 3 on the big screen after this. Did see the two last episodes from Season 5 yesterday (fyi one aired last week en the other one was on last thursday in the US) Didn't care much for the character-episode about Brass and was happy to see a return to the case-based story on episode 21 (Committed), but am desperatly hoping for more team-members to join the last couple of episodes. (fyi put a link to some fascinating CSI-fanfiction on my original blog: cio if you want to know 'what makes the desert beautiful'*)
Okay, so I didn't translate my COTW-blog in a while, let me summarize the past few
Again: two weeks in one log (trust me, my life is not very exciting on a day-to-day basis anyway;-)
UPDATE! (14 days of interesting adventures all rolled into one post;)
Not a very eventful week, so I didn't bother translating my blog every day. FYI: (TMI?) I've been having these 'attacks' of nausea for the past two weeks. After pms I went straight into 'm' and I'm still not feeling great:-( Hopefully my body and I will be over it next week... Enough about me, more about my computer; it's been working very well! Finally got Shareaza to work properly, I have to find the best links myself, but once the program makes the connection it's downloadheaven:) Started to build a csi-collection (I know I promised in my COTW that I wouldn't use that abbreviation again, but this is a different log, right?;) since the tv-channel that's airing the show here is only doin' reruns atm and I really want to see some new stuff.
Lazy sunday afternoon.... got up around twelve, just in time to watch the Sunday politics program. Not that I'm very interested in politicians, but I like the guy that does the opinionpiece every other week;)
Not a very active day: I really enjoyed the weekend;) Did do some tasks around the house today: wash dishes, recycle glass, clean staircase and entrance (every neighbor has to do this every six weeks), but mostly had a lot of fun:
Another fairly normal day, was a little late for work, 'cause on the way I made a stop in the cardshop and got a bit carried away;) Had a lot to do the rest of the day and decided to take a later bus, so I could go hunt the shops for an orange wastepaperbasket mum wants for her bathroom. Didn't find it of course, so I had to compensate and bought a lot of tasty stuff instead;) (didn't want to go home empty-handed;) Got sick on the bus, after eating a couple (or more) of 'fantasy'(=fake) chocolates, but at home I calmed my stomach down by filling it up with a lot of warm meatballs (small sized, don't worry;). I felt a lot better:-)
Okay.... yesterday, when I said I was gonna watch some DVD's, I lied! Instead I took a long shower and went to bed: I can be such a grown-up sometimes;)
Finally finished my long weblog-entry in my 'normal' log, so it's time to update this corner of my world;)
Yes, my computer is working again and I almost figured out all the new stuff and programs that are on it now. Updated my movielog (BeeLikeJ's Bios) and will definatly start this blog again soon;)
It's not that I don't have anything to bitch about (HA) but I'm having computertroubles at home.
Updated my bioslog and my COTW and now my fingers are frozen, 'cause I forgot to turn the central heating on after I got home from my work-out session tonight :-(.
Not a lot to write about, but I decided to post some pictures made in the last couple of weeks (months;). Haven't figured out if I can publish different pictures on one date, so if you scroll down you'll find four entries for today. Of course we already shot more recent pictures, but if you want to see what moms house looks like today, you are welcome to come by:-)
